Violin Group Classes - Pleasant Mountain Music

Beginner Youth Violin Ensemble

Youth Violin Ensemble will provide invaluable musicianship skills to the beginner violin student. Participants can take this class alongside private lessons, or as a standalone ensemble to begin their musical journey learning the violin. Participants will learn, among other things, warm-ups, healthy technique, repertoire from a variety of eras (from classics to modern, symphonies to video games) and how to play together in a group. No previous playing experience required.

Ages: 7 to 13
Time: Wednesdays @ 6:30 to 7:30pm
Start Date: April 5
End Date: June 21

Tuition: $120/month OR $360 for entire 12 weeks program

Anyone unsure of their child’s level can book in for a $15.00 placement session with Karla to determine suitability for violin ensemble!

Intermediate Violin Ensemble

This class is designed for intermediate plays to return to playing after a gap, or as an add-on to private one-on-one lessons. Playing in a group will provide lasting musicianship skills to all participants in a fun and inclusive environment. Previous playing experience required; suggested level is Suzuki level 2 or higher, or 1-3 years of private or ensemble lessons.

Ages: 14 to adult
Time: Wednesdays @ 7:30 – 8:45pm
Start Date: Wednesday April 5
End Date: Wednesday June 21

Tuition: $140/month or $420 for entire 12 week program
