Welcome to the Pleasant Mountain Music Newsletter – October Edition. Spooky season is upon us and we hope you find joy in the brisk mornings and bright colours on the tree canopy. Some of us have been waiting to bust out our favourite scarf collection and display pumpkins since last autumn! In other news, we’ll be planning some nifty activities this month, including the usual drop-in class suspects, as well as a couple of rather unique events as well! |

October Classes | 🎻 8-Bit String Ensemble: a celebration of vintage video game music 🎻 It was brought to our attention recently that the time on our posters and the time in our portal for 8-Bit String Orchestra, DID NOT MATCH!
We sincerely apologize for the time error in our registration widget. As a result, we’re extending the registration deadline for this class for another 3 weeks.
Violin, Viola, and Cello players are encouraged to sign up, as this class is sure to be a delightful play down nostalgic lane. Charts will include songs from Tetris, Super Mario, and Zelda. Featuring instruction from multi-instrumentalist Sara Cruz - Ages: 16+

| | | ⚠️ Handpan Clinic on October 19 is CANCELLED ⚠️ Notices have been sent out, but as registration was still ongoing this month, we wanted to notify the entire student body that unfortunately our beloved (and popular) handpan clinic is cancelled this season. Surprisingly (or maybe not) our partners over at Gandharva Loka Musical Instruments are on back-order for stock and won’t have enough instruments to supply the clinic participants. Victims of their own success perhaps! Though they may have stock in 4 weeks time, it may also take a lot longer, so we agreed on this occasion to cancel our event.
We will either re-book private lessons for affected participants, or cancel and refund depending on participants situations. Please reach out to us if you have been affected by the cancellation.
If you were excited to try the handpan but hadn’t signed up for the now cancelled clinic yet, you can still take advantage of the handpan and hybrid handpan we keep at the studio by booking a private lesson with teacher Arturo on any Monday this fall/winter! |
