Adult Rock Band

Already accomplished the feat of playing…know your way around your instrument pretty well…missing that final link in the music making process? WE’VE GOT THE CLASS FOR YOU! Kick start the next phase of your music journey with this fun and inclusive Rock Band class! It’s aimed at giving adults the satisfaction of practicing and performing music together. Song choices are chosen by the Rock Band participants themselves, and previous sessions have included oldies but goodies like such as “I love Rock and Roll” – Joan Jett, and “Black Magic Woman” – Santana, as well as early 2000s bangers like “I believe in a thing called love” – Darkness, “Beverly Hills” – Weezer, and more recent works from great rock bands such as “Won’t Stand Down” – Muse, or “Afterlife” – Evanescence.

🎸Previous music experience required to join this class (but again the repertoire is selected by members of the band so songs can be tailored to the skill level in the room!)

🎤 Participants must bring their own bass, electric, or acoustic guitar for the duration of class. We provide microphones, a Roland RD-150 keyboard, a Roland V-2 electric drum kit and amps for guitars.

🎹 The band would in particular, love to add a drummer and keyboard player to the mix!
