Early Childhood Education – Music Instructor
JOB TYPE: Contractor: P/T, 1-2 days a week with opportunity to grow
PAY RATE: HOURLY $48-$60/hour (depending on teacher’s experience/training)
REPORTS TO: Owners & Studio Manager
BACKGROUND: PMM is a small but mighty music school located in the trendy South Granville neighbourhood of Vancouver. As a result of our consistent, and continued growth, we are in need of an Early Childhood Educator, specializing in music, capable of leading group classes in the mornings for ages 0-months to 5 years. This contracted position is new to PMM, but is ideal for a current early childhood educator looking to expand their music program into a space larger than their personal home, or to branch out their program into the South Granville neighbourhood. This contracted position will ideally start with 2 (or more) mornings per week, but has the opportunity to expand to more days as the program grows/fills with students. PMM’s main hall has the capacity to hold up to 10 tots and their parents for morning classes, ideally between 8am-1pm Monday through Friday (weekends are an option too though!). Teacher-Contractors are paid on an hourly rate once per month.
